FAQ

are you shipping materials?

We gave this a lot of thought and ultimately decided to not box and ship camp materials - in an effort to keep your cost down and minimize waste. We have a feeling that most of the materials you will find on your camp supply list are things you already have at home. We have created both a *master supply list (*if you are planning on joining us for the full summer) and individual material lists for each session in our Amazon store front. Please take a moment to explore and cross reference these lists so that you only purchase what you don’t already have. If there are items that you need to purchase we did the scouring for you. All the selections are budget friendly without compromising quality. As you know, we are BIG on incorporating recyclable materials into our projects (think: egg cartons, TP tubes, cardboard) so you will want to start saving those treasures now if you don’t already have a growing collection. All digital materials (printables and templates) are included with camp registration.

are the camps live or recorded?

Daily camp sessions were going to be live-streamed but we received some really valuable feedback from our community after our virtual pop-up classes. Every child works at a different pace and we want to encourage that. So the ability to be able to pause, rewind, and fast forward is important. The quality and format will still be what you would expect from our in-person or virtual sessions but each portion of the day will be recorded and archived so that families in different time zones can work through their camp days when it makes the most sense for them.. at their own pace.

each camp session is 3 days?

Yes! We are going to explore a lot of different materials and projects in those 3 camp days (5+ projects). It is very likely that campers will need extended time to complete each project.  Mondays and Fridays are set aside for extensions and independent art making. We also want to be mindful of the social and emotional needs of our community at this unprecedented time.  Some kiddos might need to take more breaks. Some families might want to unplug for a long weekend. Bookending 3 days together with down time  just feels right.. we think you will agree.

is the $150 weekly rate just for one camper?

$150 is the per family price. The “per family” rate is for people who live in your home it does not extend to neighbors, extended family or friends outside of your home. We are a small business trying to stay afloat at a very trying time. Camp registration revenue is vital to our survival. Thanks for your understanding and support.
